It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic loss of 18-year-old Kimber Mills, a beloved member of the Cleveland community. Kimber was caught in the crossfire of a violent altercation in northeast Jefferson County, AL, just three days ago, leaving family and friends devastated by her untimely passing.Kimber was a senior at Cleveland High School, where she was known not only for her athleticism as a cheerleader but also for her passion for running track. She was full of promise, with a bright future ahead of her. Kimber had plans to attend Alabama, UAB, or Wallace State after graduating next spring, dreaming of a future filled with endless possibilities. Instead, we gather to honor her life and the light she brought to all who knew her.The family invites friends and loved ones to pay their respects at the Cleveland First Baptist Church on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 3 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3 pm, with burial taking place at Elvester Cemetery.
