Plot:

In Raya and the Last Dragon 2 (2026), the lands of Kumandra are once again in jeopardy. After the defeat of Namaari and the restoration of peace between the Drune and the five lands, Raya (Kelly Marie Tran) has become the protector of Sisu’s legacy, ensuring the harmony between humans and dragons. However, peace is short-lived.

A new, powerful threat emerges — The Elder Dragon, a mythical force from the far reaches of Kumandra who predates Sisu. The Elder Dragon (played by Donnie Yen) is a creature of immense power, believed to have been lost to time. With the resurgence of the Elder Dragon, an ancient conflict resurfaces, and a dark force known as The Void begins to spread across Kumandra, unraveling the bonds of unity.

Raya, now the leader of a united Kumandra, must once again rally her friends, including Sisu (Awkwafina), Namaari (Gemma Chan), and new allies, to face this growing threat. Together, they embark on a dangerous journey to locate the Dragon Temple, the only place where the Elder Dragon’s power can be neutralized before The Void consumes everything. Along the way, they will encounter fierce creatures, untold dangers, and face their own internal conflicts, as the bonds of trust and unity are tested once more.

As the battle against the Elder Dragon and The Void intensifies, Raya must confront the difficult truth about the balance between light and dark. Is it possible to maintain peace when both sides of the dragon world — good and evil — are intertwined in a constant struggle? Raya and her companions will learn that the true power lies not in defeating evil, but in understanding and reconciling the duality that exists within all of them.
