Die Hard 2: Die Harder brings back Bruce Willis as John McClane, the wisecracking New York cop who once again finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time — this time at Washington Dulles International Airport on Christmas Eve. As McClane waits for his wife’s plane to land, a group of rogue military operatives led by Colonel Stuart (William Sadler) seizes control of the airport’s communications system, threatening to crash inbound planes unless their demands are met. With chaos in the air and time running out, McClane must once again become a one-man army to save hundreds of lives — including his wife’s.

With Bruce Willis in top form and plenty of explosive set pieces, it remains one of the most satisfying action follow-ups of the 1990s.
